Firedrive auto-mutes the videos by default. Just click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the video player to enable the sound.
I can’t find it either! It’s currently on hold on the waitlist until I can find a link, but as soon as I have one, it will become available here!
It started playing right away for me, so you may either be having a problem with your connection or be clicking on the wrong thing. To eliminate the latter, check the FAQ and make sure that you’re doing everything right to watch the video. If you follow all the steps exactly and are still having trouble, it’s probably your internet connection. Try watching it at a time when your server won’t be very busy (such as late at night or early in the morning).
No, I understood. :) When I wrote that response, I knew that it was a bit sharp and didn’t quite convey what I meant to say, but I was too tired to go back and revise it. I didn’t intend to attack the anon in any way; I just wanted to show that even if I don’t respond to a broken link right away, I DO see it and eventually I will get to it. When I take too long to fix something, I feel like the requesters gets the impression that I don’t care, which couldn’t be further from the truth! To be honest, this blog has grown larger than I could have ever dreamed, and it can sometimes be hard to control with just me managing all these links. However, I love doing this work, even if I have a hard time keeping up!
In any case, to the previous anon, I’m sorry if I came off as harsh or unkind in any way. It was definitely not my intention, and I appreciate so much that you brought those broken links to my attention!
